We specialise in the maintenance, diagnostics and upgrading of BMWs and BMW MINIs only and we do not sell any vehicles. By keeping our focus on those areas in which we excel we are able to provide the ultimate customer service experience and deliver the results our customer’s expect.

Paddock Motors is located in Oaklands Garage, Aylesbeare, approximately 10 minutes from Exeter in Devon. Although we are based in Devon we cater to customers from all across the UK.

We do offer select waiting times for certain repairs so you can wait whilst we work on your vehicle. Contact service reception on 01395 232049 to check for available appointments. Please note that we are unable to offer a while-you-wait service for MOT tests.

This is a question we get asked a lot! Due to the complicated nature of most motor vehicles it can be difficult to quote for a repair before we see your vehicle.

The majority of diagnostic jobs start with connecting the vehicle to the BMW diagnostic system and interrogating the fault codes stored. This will either result in the diagnosis of the problem, or may indicate any further checks we may need to carry out.

The cost of the initial diagnostic check is £96.00 inc vat. From there, we will be able to advise you on what we need to check next and will be able to quote accordingly.

We are not an MOT testing station so cannot carry out in-house MOT tests. We can arrange for an off-site MOT test to be carried out by a third-party testing station whilst your BMW or MINI is with us for servicing or repairs. Please contact our Service Department on 01395 232049 to discuss.

Paddock Motors can provide you with the use of a courtesy car whilst your BMW or MINI is with us. We charge a one-off fee of £30 inc vat per visit to arrange the insurance cover. This is not a daily charge.

What can I say a 10/10 service! I was experiencing a very annoying problem where I was driving my Series 1 the traction control kept turning on for no obvious reason even in dry conditions. I booked in to have a diagnostic, on the day of the appointment I received a phone call explaining the fault, quote for the repair and permission to go ahead. They managed to replace the reluctor rings which causes the sensor to be tricked and turning on the traction control. This was was all done in 1 day, pleasant customer service, explain the issue simply and walked away a very happy customer. I'll be coming back in the future whenever I have errors for sure!
